I was living in Wicker Park and a dispute with my landlord erupted over the conditions of my departure. Startled, I called Brabender Law and asked about options. Andy was cordial, sensible and gently tenacious as he directed me to take legal action. I felt confident with him representing me, and for good reason, as we settled almost overnight. The landlord caved, I got paid fairly, and I learned a happy lesson about the legal system. Know your rights and find a good lawyer to exercise them! Andy Brabender represented me and my roomates a dozen years ago and I still to this day recommend him to anyone who tells me they're having landlord trouble. Even though we were 24 year olds who didn't know anything, Andy communicated with respect, kindness and efficiency. Having him on our side was honestly the best thing we could've done. When I was a young fresh out of college kid a landlord tried to take advantage of me. Andy helped me not only shut down the landlord’s claims but also ended up winning me a lot of money!
